Madhya Pradesh Ranji Trophy 2026-27 squad: Shubham Sharma to lead

Madhya Pradesh announced its squad for the upcoming Ranji Trophy 2026-27 campaign, with Shubham Sharma set to lead the contingent in the tournament this time.

The Chandrakant Pandit-coached side will miss Rajat Patidar and Arshad Khan in the first round due to their India A duties. Venkatesh Iyer, who underwent shoulder surgery recently, is also out of action while he recovers.

MP topped its group last season but lost to eventual champion Jammu and Kashmir in the quarterfinal at home.

MP will start its 2026-27 season against J&K in Srinagar.

The state has five Ranji Trophy titles, its latest coming in the 2021-22 season when it defeated Mumbai to take top honours.
