Sono arrivati fino al mare i detriti trascinati dalla furia dell’acqua, dopo i forti temporali che nella notte si sono abbattuti su Lipari, la più grande delle sette Isole Eolie, al largo della costa settentrionale della Sicilia. I torrenti Ponte e Valle sono esondati: decine di abitazioni allagate, auto impantanate nelle banchine del porto di Sottomonastero, e fango in molte strade del centro. Numerosi gli interventi dei vigili del fuoco anche a soccorso di automobilisti.
