Giants cut Slayton, team's longest-tenured player
The New York Giants have released wide receiver Darius Slayton, moving on from their longest-tenured player.
Slayton was set to make $13 million in 2026, which would have been his eighth with the Giants.
Slayton, 29, had 37 receptions for 538 yards and a touchdown in 14 games last season after re-signing with the team on a three-year, $36 million contract.
He has 296 receptions for 4,435 yards and 22 touchdowns in his career since joining the Giants as a fifth-round draft selection in 2019.
