The hype around Justice‘s previously announced score for the forthcoming Grand Theft Auto VI grows more frantic Thursday (Oct. 29) with the release of the duo’s first-ever collaboration with fellow Frenchman Gesaffelstein.

The seven-minute “Pusher” is exactly what fans would expect from the musical peers, with the cinematic song evoking Justice’s “Stress” and “Generator” along with the throttling percussion that defines the Gesaffelstein oeuvre. With each act bringing its predilection for darkly pummeling synths and pacing fit for an action sequence, its easy to imagine this music in the highly anticipated GTA VI, which arrives Nov. 19.

“Pusher” is the second release from Justice’s original score for the GTA VI soundtrack, following the Oct. 15 release of “Flowers In a Hurricane,” a collaboration with SZA, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard and Tame Impala. “Flowers In a Hurricane” debuted on the Oct. 31-dated Billboard Hot 100 at No. 62, giving King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard its first hit on the list.

Of working on the score to the forthcoming game, Justice’s Xavier de Rosnay said in a statement, “The scope of the game is so large geographically and thematically that it was clear from the beginning the music would also have to be very broad in terms of emotions, genres and textures. We were given the freedom to explore as many things as we needed to, musically speaking.”

Coming via Because Music, Ed Banger and Rockstar Games, Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score will be out on Dec. 11. The project will mark Justice’s fifth studio album.
