KUALA LUMPUR: iPhone 18 fever appears to have gripped Malaysians, with some Apple fans reportedly queuing as early as 4am to get their hands on the latest smartphone.
Social media posts showed long queues forming at several Apple Store locations across the country today.
One user, @fizabarakahtripkashmir, shared a video showing customers already lining up at 4am.
"Sept 18 looks like this when you want to buy the iPhone 18. They were already queuing at 4am," she said in the post.
Meanwhile, Threads user @serraaa shared a picture of a long queue at the Apple Store in TRX at 5.50am.
"TRX, Apple Store at 5.50am," she wrote.

Similar scenes were reportedly seen at other locations as Apple fans turned up before stores opened to get the latest iPhone 18 Pro.
The early-morning queues amused social media users, with some joking about the lengths people were willing to go to get the new device.
"Are you all so rich? Did you sell your kidneys to pay for this?" one user quipped.
