Emmerdale confirms Moira jealousy after Cain and Sadie meeting

Emmerdale fans can expect a new rift between Cain and Moira Dingle next week, as Sadie King's shock appearance sends Moira into a jealous frenzy.

After paranoid Moira realises that her husband concealed his cancer diagnosis from his ex, she suspects that old feelings have resurfaced. But can Cain explain himself before his wife wages war on Sadie?

"Moira's reaction shows there are still insecurities in their marriage," explains our Emmerdale source.

"Moira wrongly assumes Cain is hankering after a trip down memory lane and revisiting his bad-boy charms. But he's keen to prove that anything romantic with Sadie is far from his mind..."

After his long and heartfelt chat with Sadie, Cain's caught off guard when Moira lays into him for withholding his cancer diagnosis from his ex. She immediately assumes he didn't tell Sadie the truth because he was excited by her attention, playing up to their old sizzling and dangerous dynamic.

Having struggled to rebuild their sex life since Cain's diagnosis, jealous Moira continues to rage at Cain and accuses him of falling under Sadie's spell in an effort to feel like his old self. Outraged, the mechanic snaps and tells her the truth.

Cain stuns Moira by revealing the details of his heart-to-heart with Sadie, admitting that he didn't want to share the truth about his illness when Sadie had just opened up about her miscarriage.

"Sadie's revelation floored Cain," continues our insider. "It was a devastating thing for her to relive. The last thing Cain wanted to do was burden her with his problems after everything she shared, but his omission had nothing to do with any lingering feelings."

In the middle of Cain and Moira's fight, Sadie interrupts. Despite her presence making the situation even more awkward, Cain is determined to prove that his heart lies with Moira. So the couple stand together united, giving Sadie the impression of a strong and enduring marriage.

Cain makes his loyalty to Moira crystal clear. However, after such an intimate and soul-searching conversation, might Sadie still be hoping for a second chance? From what we've seen so far, she may be looking to get her claws into Cain's brother, Caleb…
