Michin finally has her first WWE title, and her family was in the building to see it. She and Jade Cargill won the Women's Tag Team Championship, ending Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley's 13-day reign. Afterwards Michin dropped the on-screen persona and posted an emotional message on social media. The match was in Ontario, California, close to her hometown of Fontana, which made it hit harder. Her family watched from the stands.
So thankful to achieve this in my hometown. It's still so surreal omg.. being able to have my family witness this live in the stands… thank you, oppa for wrestling me when we were kids. You planted this nugget of an insane dream. I love you, 909. Fontana's Finest ???? #wwe #smackdown

Michin shares an emotional message after winning her first WWE championship in front of family
Michin went to X after the title change and said it still felt unreal. Having her family there mattered a lot to her, especially after so many years chasing this in wrestling.
“So thankful to achieve this in my hometown. It's still so surreal omg.. being able to have my family witness this live in the stands… thank you, oppa for wrestling me when we were kids. You planted this nugget of an insane dream. I love you, 909. Fontana's Finest,” Michin wrote.
The 909 is the area code for Fontana, California. Michin and Cargill got the titles by beating Bliss and Paxley, and it came with her whole family looking on.
Jade Cargill helped Michin secure the championship after a crucial distraction during the match
Cargill, leader of the Baddies group, distracted the referee and hit Paxley while the official wasn't looking. Michin saw the opening and landed a Styles Clash on Paxley for the pinfall. Michin and Cargill are now the champions in women's tag team division.
There was another family celebration this week too. Michin's sister, Kris Yim, married former WWE Champion Big E on October 21, 2026, and the wedding was attended by family, friends and WWE stars, including Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch. Big E and Kris started dating in April 2024 and got engaged in May 2025.
For Miching, a win of this level is nothing to be taken lightly. She didn't win the title throughout her career, but now that she's finally win, she deserves all the credit and the praise. Now, what remains to be seen is how long she'll be able to stay the champion and defend her title.
