But in private, Penny told Lauren that she couldn’t cope with the lies any longer and that she was going to tell Vinny the truth about the baby’s paternity that evening, after the party.
Vinny’s loved ones gathered at Knight Fusion for the celebrations, and Suki made a heartfelt speech for her son, on the eve of him becoming a father for the first time.
Meanwhile, Ryder turned up late to the party to help out and accidentally dropped the packet of weed gummies he was eating. Ria picked up the sweets, not knowing they contained drugs.
Vinny noticed this and took the sweets from Ria, saying they would spoil her food later, but he secretly started eating them himself.
Things got too much for Penny and she got some air, with Lauren following to try and talk her out of telling Vinny the truth at this late stage and reasoning that he may never find out.

Penny resolved to reveal her bombshell secret, but at that moment she started experiencing pain and her waters broke!
As Lauren told everyone that Penny had gone into labour, it was established that Vinny had eaten Ryder’s gummies and was stoned. Lauren and Suki headed to the hospital with Penny and were met by Jack, as Harry and Gina desperately attempted to sober up Vinny.
Penny waited to be taken into theatre, and Jack reassured his daughter that she was going to be a good mother. Thankfully, Vinny arrived at the hospital just in time and Penny’s son was delivered successfully.
