Identities of Nine Victims Killed in Florida Learjet Crash Revealed

Translate

The identities of nine people killed after a private Learjet 60 crashed and burst into flames in Palm Beach County, Florida, have been revealed.

Among the victims were technology entrepreneur Adam Robinson, his wife Helen Sharp, their two young children, two family friends, their nanny and two pilots.

The aircraft crashed near Greenacres on Sunday, November 1, 2026, while travelling from Austin, Texas, to North Eleuthera in the Bahamas. All seven passengers and both crew members died.

The families of the seven passengers released a joint statement on social media on Monday, November 2, identifying the victims as Robinson, 45; his wife Sharp, 40; their children Emma, 4, and Charlie, 2; family friends Rachael Reed and Charmi Fehr; and their nanny, Anita Maria Cetina.

The pilots were identified as captain Jeffrey Gregory, 55, and co-pilot Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras, 20.

Who were the victims?

Adam Robinson

Robinson was an Austin-based technology entrepreneur who founded and led several companies, including Retention.com and RB2B, which specialise in marketing technology and identifying website visitors.

Before venturing into entrepreneurship, he worked in finance at Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital.

Following news of his death, colleagues and businesses associated with him paid tribute, describing him as a mentor, friend and bold leader.

Helen Sharp

Sharp was a public relations professional and ceramic artist. She founded Influential PR, an Austin-based public relations firm, and also operated Helen Sharp Ceramics.

The families described her and Robinson as devoted parents, saying their two children were the light of their lives. They also remembered the couple for their relationship, warmth and generosity towards those around them.

Emma and Charlie

The couple’s children, Emma, 4, and Charlie, 2, were also among those killed in the crash.

Their deaths added to the tragedy surrounding the loss of the entire family.

Anita Maria Cetina

Cetina, the family’s nanny, was also aboard the aircraft.

In their statement, relatives described her as someone who cared for the children with tenderness and devotion, adding that she had become part of the family.

Rachael Reed and Charmi Fehr

The other passengers were identified as Rachael Reed and Charmi Fehr, a couple and close friends of the Robinson family.

Jeffrey Gregory and Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras

The aircraft’s captain was identified as Jeffrey Gregory, 55, while Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras, 20, was the co-pilot.

Filgueiras reportedly obtained her pilot’s licence at the age of 17 through a high school aviation programme and had accumulated considerable flying experience.

Gregory’s former employer also paid tribute following confirmation of his death.

What happened before the crash?

The Learjet 60, registered as N722BD, departed Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas, bound for North Eleuthera Airport in the Bahamas.

It crashed at approximately 12:50 p.m. near the intersection of Military Trail and Cresthaven Boulevard in Greenacres, Palm Beach County.

Air traffic control recordings reportedly indicate that the crew encountered icing conditions and moderate turbulence before declaring an emergency as the aircraft rapidly lost altitude.

The jet plunged from high altitude before hitting the ground and exploding in a fireball.

Dashcam footage captured the moment of impact, while the crash site was left with a large crater and debris scattered across the surrounding area.
