Houthi missile attack targets Yemeni presidential palace in Aden

Translate

Five people have been killed and 16 injured in a Houthi missile attack on the presidential palace in Aden, southern Yemen, officials say.

The Houthis' military spokesman, Yahya Sarea, said the group had targeted what he called "the Saudi enemy's military operations headquarters in Aden".

Health Minister Qasim Buhaibeh said the casualties included palace guards and civilian employees.

The location of the footage was confirmed as Aden, the interim capital of Yemen’s internationally recognised government.

The verification confirms where the video was filmed, but does not establish the cause of the smoke or link the footage directly to the reported missile strike.
