EastEnders reveals Craig's sinister new demand for Amy Mitchell

EastEnders' Amy Mitchell brags about her new romance with Craig Ingram to her friends next week, but the situation gets seriously out of hand.
Unaware that Amy is being groomed by Craig, the nosy group of teens turn up at his flat. But when the villain discovers their covert visit, what will he do next?

"Craig has Amy right where he wants her," warns our Walford insider. "Their illicit relationship is taking over her life, and her loved ones are noticing that she's acting differently.
"But as Amy hides a secret of her own from Craig, another character could face big consequences…"
Amy's uncharacteristic behaviour hasn't gone unnoticed by Denise Fox, and when the teen visits her stepmum in hospital this week, Denise makes it clear that she needs to focus on her schoolwork rather than her new boyfriend – who she assumes is someone age-appropriate.
While Amy listens to Denise's advice, she finds it impossible to put her feelings for Craig aside, especially as he becomes increasingly demanding.
The vulnerable teen is noticeably distant from her concerned mates, who are aware that she has a mysterious new older boyfriend. But when Amy reaches out to Lily, things go very wrong…

"Amy invites Lily to come and see her new fella's flat, keen to impress her bestie," continues our spy. "But what she doesn't realise is that Lily's told Ricky where she was going – and he arrives with the whole gang! As the teens descend on Craig's home, Amy fears she has lost control of events…"
While this unfolds, Jack discovers that his daughter has been absent from school. He doesn't know how to tackle the situation, but Phil Mitchell encourages him to bite the bullet and speak to Amy.
Father and daughter have a proper heart-to-heart back at home, but by the end of the conversation, Jack believes that Amy has been acting out because of Denise's cancer illness.
But Amy then faces more trouble, as Craig uncovers evidence that proves other people have been in his flat, and he isn't happy…

"Furious Craig bombards Amy with messages after finding Denzel's ID in his flat," reveals our source. "Penny reaches out to her on Jack's orders, but Amy is more concerned about what she should do next.
"At Craig's home, Amy faces the wrath of the vile ex-copper, and he asks her to prove her loyalty to him by handing over her phone."
Amy dutifully gives up her device, and Craig soon finds a shirtless photo of Denzel that he sent to her recently.
The teen quickly explains why the image is on her phone and Craig appears to accept what she says – but he clearly bears a grudge towards Denzel. As his hold over Amy tightens, will he take revenge?
EastEnders airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
