Translate

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Keenan Allen was arrested early Sunday morning on drunk driving charges.

Allen, 34, was charged with DWI and DWI endangering a person, according to online jail records. Both are misdemeanor charges.

Multiple local media outlets reported that Allen was arrested in downtown Indianapolis at approximately 1 a.m. ET. As of Sunday morning, he was being held at the Marion County Arrestee Processing Center.

"We are aware of the incident involving Keenan Allen last night," the Colts said in a statement. "We are in the process of gathering more information and have no further comment at this time."

Allen joined the Colts earlier this month on a one-year deal. The 14-year veteran played briefly in Saturday's preseason game against the Detroit Lions, finishing with one catch for 24 yards.

A six-time Pro Bowler, Allen had 81 receptions last season with the Los Angeles Chargers. He spent his first 11 campaigns with the Chargers before being traded to the Chicago Bears in 2024 following a contract dispute.
