Hollyoaks' Frankie makes huge discovery about Caleb as Keane drama explodes

Hollyoaks’ Frankie Osbourne is set to make a big discovery about her ex-boyfriend Caleb Keane next week, as a sudden health scare leads to huge drama unfolding for the Keane family.

Viewers know that since Caleb’s life-changing injuries in a car crash earlier this year, Jonah has been desperate to keep his son close. To halt Caleb’s plans to leave the village with Frankie, Jonah started secretly drugging him to make it seem like he is seriously ill.

Since their travel plans were put on hold, Caleb and Frankie have split up, but in next week’s episodes Frankie finds an excuse to see her ex. It is clear that the pair still have feelings for one another, and with Caleb feeling positive about his recovery, there is a chance for the couple to reunite.

Meanwhile, Beth is heartbroken when her son Maddox tells her that he is planning to go to Switzerland with Caleb to meet his biological family. Beth rages at Caleb for encouraging his stepbrother, but as the family are at odds, Caleb has a seizure.

Frankie is still busy completing work experience at the hospital, but her day takes a shocking turn when she spots Caleb being rushed in as a patient.

As Jonah does his best to act concerned for his son, he does all he can to get Frankie to stay away from his son.

But alarm bells are ringing for Frankie, who secretly breaks protocol and takes a peek at Caleb’s test results. She is keen to know what is wrong with him but is stunned to discover that there was a suspicious drug in Caleb’s system.

Frankie’s concerns grow when her research shows that it’s an anti-depressant that was found in Caleb’s bloodstream. She asks her dad for advice, and Darren draws on his own past experiences as he tells his daughter to tread carefully.

At the hospital, Frankie informs Caleb that she knows he’s on anti-depressants, but this is, of course, news to him. Jonah overhears this chat so quickly heads into the room and interrupts.

When Maddox later tells Frankie about how controlling Beth and Jonah can be, Frankie gets a disturbing idea about what’s really going on.

Meanwhile, Caleb is confused about what Frankie was saying about anti-depressants. As the Keanes throw out some big accusations, Jonah suddenly makes some huge claims that leave the family shaken.

Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
