Mario Gila, Adrien Rabiot and Diego Moreira are unlikely to be fit for Milan’s clash with Bologna, with Ruben Amorim instead hoping to have them back for Saturday’s derby against Inter.
According to MilanNews, via Calciomercato.com, the trio are working to be ready for the derby after missing Sunday’s 2-0 win at Udinese. Rabiot has fatigue in his right calf, Moreira has a hamstring problem and Gila is dealing with inflammation in his left ankle.
There is also concern over Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who came off the bench in the 73rd minute in Udine but was forced off in stoppage time after a collision with Matteo Palma. He is undergoing tests, with no update yet on how long he could be out.

Milan unbeaten despite growing injury list
Despite the absences, Milan bounced back from their Europa League defeat at Bournemouth in style. Christian Pulisic opened the scoring after six minutes and Omari Hutchinson added a second with his first goal for the club, extending Amorim’s unbeaten start in Serie A.

The Rossoneri are now on 18 points and face a demanding week. They host Bologna at San Siro on Wednesday at 18:30 CET [17:30 GMT], before the derby at 20:45 CET [19:45 GMT] on Saturday.
Samuel Chukwueze, Matteo Gabbia and Alexis Saelemaekers remain long-term absentees.
