Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath's final performance together gets cinema release with brand-new trailer

An official trailer has been released for upcoming concert film Ozzy & Black Sabbath: Back to the Beginning – which documents the final performance from late rock star Ozzy Osborne.

The movie will arrive in UK cinemas for a limited time from Wednesday 28 October, with tickets already available for purchase at the film's official website.

"There's never been a precedent for a show like this," we hear a voice say at the start of the trailer. "Millions of people around the world, who got to say thank you Black Sabbath, thank you Ozzy."

We then see plenty of footage from the concert – including a huge number of high profile guest stars – with a voice explaining, "There were so many artists, there was no ego."

"He was told he probably wouldn't make it through the show," Ozzy's widow Sharon Osborne is then heard saying in voiceover. "He said, 'No, I'm doing it. Whatever happens, happens."

"You have no idea how I feel," we see an emotional Ozzy tell the crowd towards the end of the trailer. You can watch it in full below:

The concert took place at Birmingham's Villa Park just 17 days before Ozzy's death, and saw him reunite with his Black Sabbath band mates Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward – their first performance together in more than 20 years.

A number of other iconic bands and musicians also appeared in the set, including Alice in Chains, Guns N Roses, Metallica, Slayer, and Tool and Ronnie Wood.

The film unfolds over two and a half hours and – alongside the concert footage – also includes personal reflections from musicians Ozzy and Black Sabbath inspired.

Meanwhile, viewers will also be treated to a behind the scenes look at the day of the convert including insight from show host Jason Momoa and Musical Director Tom Morello.
