A Liv Morgan championship poster showing up at Riyadh Season Hall gave WWE fans a fresh look on preparations for Crown Jewel 2026, which is scheduled for November 7. A fan in Saudi Arabia shared a video where work is underway at the venue and a big section of the stands is covered. Earlier, WWE faced questions over the event's location because of security concerns linked to attacks from Iran, so its plans were under scrutiny. But the footage suggests preparations are moving ahead in Riyadh, even if worries over travel are still there. WWE talent are reportedly expected to head to Saudi Arabia later in the week.

Video shows work underway at Riyadh Season Hall

The fan explained what's happening at the venue in a translated post: “Work has begun at Riyadh Season Hall (CAFVD), the host venue for Crown Jewel 2026.” Morgan's poster was also mentioned in the post, along with the covering of a large part of the stands.

WWE had officially announced Riyadh Season Stadium at the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) as host venue on September 1, and the November 7 date got confirmed in that same announcement.

The video shows the work taking place inside the venue, but it doesn't settle if WWE will finally hold the show there. Fightful Select published a report on October 15 saying the company had a backup venue in the United States ready, in case plans needed to change.

WWE prepares talent schedule amid travel concerns

WWE is also adjusting its television schedule so the trip can fit. Monday Night Raw on November 2 is scheduled to air live from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, and SmackDown is set to be taped right after it. Because of this, talent can travel to Saudi Arabia before the premium live event.

Fightful Select reported that WWE was going ahead with its plans but keeping a US backup venue available if required. The company hasn't publicly announced any change to Crown Jewel's location. So the schedule is built around the Saudi trip for now, and the backup stays only as a safety option.

Two championship matches are advertised right now. Liv Morgan is set to face Chelsea Green in the women's Crown Jewel Championship match, and Roman Reigns will take on Sami Zayn for the men's Crown Jewel Championship.

The venue footage gives a glimpse of preparations, but the possibility of a change is not ruled out. Stay tuned for more updates.
