'It breaks my heart': Celina Jaitly shares emotional Diwali post for sons living in Austria

Celina Jaitly marked Diwali 2026 with an emotional post about the pain of being away from her sons, Winston, Viraaj and Arthur. The three boys are staying in Austria with their father, Austrian hotelier Peter Haag, as the pair continue to fight a divorce and custody battle.

Celina Jaitly’s second Diwali without her sons

On Sunday, November 8, Celina took to Instagram to share that this was her second Diwali apart from her sons, and that she missed them terribly. She wrote, “It breaks my heart to think of your young, innocent hearts carrying so much pain, feeling you have to take sides. My greatest fear is that you may forget your mother’s love amid everything you are being told.”

Celina Jaitly thanks Peter Haag amid divorce battle

The actress went on to say that she wanted her three sons to know she had no choice but to safeguard whatever little she had left for their future.

Even in the middle of the divorce battle, she said, she would forever be thankful to Peter for welcoming their children into the world with her. She also voiced hope that the hurt and circumstances that broke their family apart would never dim the kindness and light in her sons’ innocent hearts."Mummy has never left you. Nothing can EVER erase the life we shared or the love I have given you or the future we can have together..

Mummy has never asked you to choose. You are the reason I keep going," Celina wrote.

Celina Jaitly’s comeback with ‘Sister Nivedita’

On the work front, Celina will make her comeback to Hindi cinema after a gap of six years with 'Sister Nivedita', directed by Ram Kamal Mukherjee. The film tells the story of sister Nivedita, born Margaret Noble, who went on to become one of Swami Vivekananda’s most devoted disciples.
