Reacher star Alan Ritchson's "incredible" thriller is now available to watch at home

A thriller hailed as "incredible" and "cataclysmic" is now available to watch at home. Runner stars Reacher's Alan Ritchson as Hank Malone, a former soldier who must race against time when a medical delivery makes him and his partner, Ben Bishop (Owen Wilson), the targets of a ruthless cartel.
A synopsis continues: "As the mission spirals into a deadly manhunt, every detour, delay, and bullet pushes them closer to failure. With betrayal closing in from every side, they must survive the chase and deliver their cargo to save the life of a little girl."
The cast is rounded out by Rodrigo Santoro, Leila George, Kate Box, and Peta Sergeant.

Runner had a brief theatrical run last month and is now available to rent or buy from Amazon, Apple TV and other digital retailers.
Ahead of its release, the film received generally positive reviews, with notable praise for the action sequences and Ritchson and Wilson's performances.
It holds a 78% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with the critics' consensus reading: "Fast and gleefully over-the-top, Runner makes the most of Alan Ritchson and Owen Wilson's winning chemistry to deliver crowd-pleasing action and humour with plenty of heart."
The film has been hailed as "incredible" and "pure entertainment" by fans, as well as "the kind of action movie that reminds me why I love the genre in the first place" by one IMDB user.
In their review, Empire wrote: "It's business as usual for both Ritchson and Wilson, but perfectly serviceable action baloney with just enough humour and emotion to keep you engaged."
RogerEbert.com added: "[It] has a certain weirdo charm that makes it far more watchable than it has any right to be."

The Guardian echoed the same sentiment, commenting: "Given the ignominious glut of straight-to-streaming background noise, it’s hard to root against a theatrical release that, knowingly or not, lands some truly cataclysmic punches with enough over-the-top silliness to force a smile."
The Wrap summarised: "Runner is the porridge Goldilocks ate, if Goldilocks loved kicking butt and taking names."
Runner is available to rent or buy from Amazon, Apple TV and other digital retailers.
