Arjun Das and Aishwarya Lekshmi are set to headline the upcoming romantic comedy web series ‘#Love’. The streaming platform has now announced the premiere date with a one-minute teaser that introduces the two characters through a dating app and offers a glimpse of their developing connection.

Directed by Balaji Mohan, the series explores modern relationships through the contrasting ideas of chemistry and compatibility.

The release-date announcement video shows Arjun Das and Aishwarya Lekshmi’s characters interacting on a dating app. Arjun Das’ character attempts to set up a meeting with Aishwarya Lekshmi’s character, offering a glimpse into the romantic dynamics at the centre of the series.The teaser has revealed that ‘#Love’ will premiere on Netflix on October 2, 2026.

‘#Love’ to stream in multiple languages

The official handle announced the release with the question, “Is it all about chemistry or compatibility?”The series will be available in Tamil, along with dubbed versions in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada, allowing it to reach audiences across multiple language markets.

What is ‘#Love’ about?

‘#Love’ revolves around Tara and Matthew, two rival founders who run dating platforms called FOUND and Find My Bae. While both have built their businesses around helping people find love and determine compatibility, their own relationship puts their beliefs about modern romance to the test.

The series explores whether chemistry or compatibility plays the bigger role in making a relationship work.

Balaji Mohan, known for films such as ‘Maari’, has directed the series. Soundarya Rajinikanth serves as the showrunner and producer, while Nirmal Williams has written the series. Sharada Subramanian and Shweta Chakravarty have also been credited as co-writers.

Arjun Das was last seen in the romantic drama ‘Once More’, alongside Aditi Shankar. The actor will now be seen exploring the romantic-comedy space with ‘#Love’. Meanwhile, Aishwarya Lekshmi recently appeared in the suspense thriller ‘Aasha’, which also featured Urvashi and Joju George.
