Varun Chakravarthy will miss the remainder of the three-match T20I series against Afghanistan in Delhi after picking up an injury. It is understood, however, that this setback is temporary, and the India spinner is expected to travel with the team for the Asian Games which starts on September 24 in Japan.

On Sunday, Chakravarthy was making his India comeback after a two-month-gap, having recovered from a hamstring injury at the Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru.
