Justice to Score GTA 6, Share New Song with Tame Impala, SZA, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard: Stream

Rockstar Games has revealed that Justice are the composers of Grand Theft Auto VI. To accompany the announcement, the French electronic duo has released a new all-star single, “Flower in a Hurricane,” featuring Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. Stream it below.
This isn’t the first preview of Justice’s contributions to GTA 6. Previously, their music appeared in the score of the extended look released in late August and the official cover art reveal. The group’s original score album is described in a press release as “the biggest, most immersive evolution of the groundbreaking Grand Theft Auto series yet.” Stay tuned for more information.
“Flower in a Hurricane” features swirling, driving synths, soaring vocals from Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker and SZA, and crunchy electric guitar from King Gizzard. Taken together, the sound is befitting GTA 6’s Miami-inspired setting and advanced weather systems simulating Florida weather.
“Flooding flashes,” they sing, capturing protagonists Jason and Lucia’s Bonnie and Clyde love story. “And my heart is aching/ ‘Til I’m washed away once more/ Let’s take it fast, just like the Flash/ And in a moment, we’ll be gone like a second chance.”
The track is also included on the official soundtrack, Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, alongside songs from Travis Scott, Cardi B, Yung Lean, PinkPantheress, Keith Richards, Rauw Alejandro, and Fuerza Regida. Pre-order the LP on vinyl or CD.
Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album is set to arrive on November 19th to coincide with the release of the game, which is currently available to pre-order for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
