Cristian Chivu warns Inter ‘know the difficulties we could run into’ against Como today, so they need ‘character, determination and the right attitude.’
It kicks off at San Siro at 17.00 GMT (18.00 CET).
The Nerazzurri fell to their first Serie A defeat of the season last week, continuing their remarkably poor recent record in the Derby della Madonnina against rivals Milan.
However, they immediately got back on track by sweeping Feyenoord aside 3-0 in the Champions League.
Chivu eager for Inter response

“This is the last game in a run of important matches, we need to give a sense of consistency to what we’ve done so far, and I believe this is the right match to achieve that,” Chivu told Sky Sport Italia.
Injuries are beginning to calm down, because while Lautaro Martinez and Luis Henrique are still out of action, there is the return of John Stones and Curtis Jones to the bench.
Alessandro Bastoni has moved to central defence in the three flanked by Manuel Akanji and Carlos Augusto, while Marcus Thuram and Pio Esposito are upfront.

“Considering what Como did last season, it was an important match then too. They have quality, play good football, we know the difficulties that we could run into, which is why we must raise the bar in every aspect today,” added Chivu.
“We need a lot of character, determination on and off the ball, the right attitude and a single approach from the whole team working together, knowing what we need to do.”
