Blackstone (BX) is launching Norla, a logistics investment platform focused on warehouses across the Nordic region, according to Reuters.

Norla will include more than 200 warehouses, mainly last-mile logistics properties supporting e-commerce, with a combined area of more than 2M square metres.

Based in Stockholm, the platform will operate across Sweden, Denmark and Finland and is expected to become operational next year.

Norla will primarily comprise assets already owned by Blackstone funds, while also allowing for investments in third-party assets. The initial portfolio is expected to be worth about €3B ($3.41B), according to the report.
