Netflix just added three seasons of one of the most acclaimed sci-fi horror series ever, making now the perfect time to binge the terrifying mystery. After joining Netflix's extensive streaming library on Monday, October 19, this celebrated series has become one of the most-watched series on the platform in the United States, surging to the streamer's #2 U.S. spot, trailing only Love Is Blind: Boston. If you're looking for the perfect long-term spooky binge to get into this weekend, this 96% Rotten Tomatoes series is just about as good as it gets.

FROM was just added to Netflix earlier this week and has instantly found popularity on the streamer's U.S. viewership chart, surpassing some of the biggest Netflix streaming hits of Fall 2026, including East of Eden, Below, and The Diplomat season 4. Often considered one of the best horror sci-fi shows of the 2020s, it's a must-watch this week for fans of psychological thrillers and supernatural horror and is one of ScreenRant's best new shows to binge-watch on Netflix this weekend. With a stellar cast, eerie narrative, and nearly universal critical acclaim, FROM is well worth watching this weekend as it continues to skyrocket on Netflix's U.S. streaming chart.

FROM’s First 30 Episodes Are Now Officially Streaming On Netflix

For the first time ever, FROM is available to stream on Netflix in the United States as part of a temporary licensing agreement ahead of its fifth and final season, which releases in 2027 on MGM+. FROM originally premiered back in 2022 and earned instant positive feedback from critics despite it relatively flying under the radar, primarily streaming on the more niche streaming platform, MGM+. The only catch with Netflix adding FROM this week is that its latest season, season 4, is not available on the platform in the U.S., meaning that viewers will have to access MGM+ to continue their binge.

FROM was created by John Griffin, best known for his work on The Institute and The Twilight Zone, and stars Harold Perrineau as Boyd Stevens, the respected local sheriff of a small town where strange and inexplicable things happen at night. FROM was also executive produced by two of the minds behind Lost, Jake Bender and Jeff Pinkner, and contains similar elements of fantasy and horror where the unknown often becomes the most terrifying threat. Throughout the first three seasons of FROM, Boyd stays on as the small town's main protector, although the increased presence of supernatural entities within the town pushes him past his breaking point.

Without having an active MGM+ subscription, there is no better way to binge-watch the first three seasons of FROM than on the world's largest streaming platform, Netflix. Although there is no announced expiration date for FROM seasons 1–3 being on Netflix in the United States, subscribers would be wise to assume that the series won't be a permanent part of Netflix's library. All signs point to now being the best possible time to start binge-watching the series while you still can, especially with Halloween 2026 rapidly approaching.

FROM is a great series worth investing in thanks to its stylistic approach that makes for a perfect atmospheric horror vibe from the moment you press play. That said, some viewers have considered it to be more of a slow-burn than a fast-paced series, which may take some newcomers out of the immersion in the show's first season.

What's more, despite its near-perfect Rotten Tomatoes score, FROM has a lower audience score of 76%, as some viewers have taken issue with the myriad plot developments that remain unsolved, even after four seasons. All things considered, FROM is gripping enough to gain initial interest and is worth watching on Netflix this weekend to see if it's the right horror binge for you.
