‘Slow Horses’ Season 7 Taps ‘The Other Bennet Sister’ Star Varada Sethu, ‘Mank’s’ Tuppence Middleton

“Slow Horses” Season 7 has unveiled some new additions to the cast including Varada Sethu and Tuppence Middleton.

Sethu recently appeared as Ann Baxter in “The Other Bennet Sister” and has also starred in “Andor” and “Jurassic World: Dominion.” Middleton has appeared in “The Forsytes” and “Downton Abbey: A New Era” as well as previously playing Gary Oldman’s wife Sara Mankiewicz in “Mank.”

Oldman is of course the star of “Slow Horses,” the Apple TV series about a motley group of MI5 intelligence agents.

In Season 7 he will also be joined by Ethan Moorhouse (“Mobland”), Merab Ninidze (“Homeland”) and Joshua McGuire(“The Gold”). James Callis will also return as the oleaginous Claude Whelan.

“Slow Horses” is based on Mick Herron’s best-selling “Slough House” book series. Season 7 is adapted from “Bad Actors.” It sees Lamb and his team – which includes Jack Lowden as River Cartwright, Christopher Chung as Roddy Ho, Saskia Reeves as Catherine Standish and Aimee-Ffion Edwards as Shirley Dander – hunting down a mole at the heart of British Government before they can “bring down the state.”

Ben Vanstone is adapting “Bad Actors” for television and executive producing while Robert McKillop directs.

The show, which has won three Emmy awards as well as BAFTAs, is produced by See-Saw Films, part of Mediawan.

Exec producers are Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Dan Hassid, Helen Gregory, Mick Herron, Gail Mutrux, Douglas Urbanski and Oldman.

Varada Sethu, Merab Ninidze and Joshua McGuire are repped by the Curtis Brown Group. Ethan Moorhouse is represented by 42. Tuppence Middleton is represented by Conway van Gelder Grant.
