England international Djed Spence picked up his first minutes in an Inter shirt on Saturday afternoon as the Nerazzurri players who remained in Milan for the international break beat Lumezzane 2-0 in a training ground friendly on Saturday.
Inter took on Serie C side Lumezzane in a 70-minute friendly at the club’s training ground on Saturday, claiming a 2-0 victory thanks to goals from Henrikh Mkhitaryan and 20-year-old Richi Agbonifo.
Cristian Chivu was able to name a relatively competitive side featuring the likes of Marcus Thuram, Curtis Jones, Federico Dimarco, Yann Bisseck and Spence, who were either not selected by their nations or have already returned from international duty.

Dimarco had withdrawn from the Italy national team squad at the beginning of the September-October break, but was fit enough to play all 70 minutes in Saturday’s friendly.
Spence, who is yet to make his first appearance for Inter after completing his €35m transfer from Tottenham over the summer, played the first 35-minute half plus 15 minutes of the second half in what was his first Nerazzurri outing.

The Nerazzurri were without Italy internationals Alessandro Bastoni, Nicolo Barella and Pio Esposito, plus Lautaro Martinez, Ange-Yoan Bonny, Petar Sucic, Andy Diouf, Piotr Zielinski, Josep Martinez, Manuel Akanji and Aleksandar Stankovic, who are all still away with their national teams.
Mkhitaryan 14’, Agnobifo 62’.
