Defending champion India faces Poland in the fifth round of the Women’s section at the Chess Olympiad 2026 in Samarkand on Saturday. The top-seeded Indian side has made a perfect start to its title defence, winning each of its opening four matches, including defeating Mongola 3-1 in its last match.
