Mancini names Italy squad list for Turkiye clash: Seven omitted, Inacio in

Samuele Inacio has been included in the Italy squad list for tonight’s match against Turkiye, but seven others, including Samuele Ricci and Daniele Ghilardi, have been left out.

Italy coach Roberto Mancini has picked his 23-man squad list for tonight’s Nations League game against Turkiye in Bologna.

Mancini could pick from 30 players, so he had to send seven to the stands for the final game of the international break.

Football Italia can confirm that the seven players left out of the Azzurri squad for the game are Massimo Pessina, Eddy Kouadio, Daniele Ghilardi, Diego Coppola, Samuele Ricci, Rolando Mandragora e Mohamed Alì Zoma.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund talent Inacio, 18, has been included in the matchday squad for the first time in this break, after being omitted from the previous three matches against Belgium, France and Turkiye (away).

Inacio already made his senior Italy debut in June under caretaker coach Silvio Baldini, but he’s still eligible to play for Brazil because his only international appearance for Italy came in a friendly.
