Coronation Street's Ronnie Bailey to face devastating cheating claims in Debbie story

Coronation Street's Debbie Webster fears that her marriage is over next week, when she suspects her husband Ronnie Bailey of having an affair.
Not only does Debbie fret that Ronnie could be seeing another woman, but she also finds a clue that he may have been thinking about care homes for her. But does Ronnie really have plans to move on from Debbie already?

"This has been Debbie's worst nightmare from day one," explains our Weatherfield insider. "Don't forget Debbie tried to end her relationship with Ronnie when she received her dementia diagnosis. She's always been scared of giving her heart to him, and now she feels him slipping away…"
The crisis in Debbie's marriage begins as tensions build between the pair, with Debbie's symptoms getting worse. Ronnie tries to play along, not wanting to alert Debbie to her lapses in memory.
However, when Debbie arrives at the hotel on what is meant to be her day off, Ronnie thanks Ryan Connor for helping to keep her busy. As Debbie observes their conversation, she grows upset thinking they're talking about her…

The next day, Ronnie panics when he catches Debbie poking a knife into the toaster and quickly pulls out the plug. Although she accuses him of treating her like a toddler, Ronnie's scared about what could have happened if he hadn't been around.
Then, Debbie finds herself having lunch with Asha Alahan after Bernie Winter-Alahan fails to turn up. But when Ronnie swings by to check up on her, Debbie storms off in a huff! Noticing the awkwardness between them, Asha recommends Ronnie join a local support group – but will he agree to attend?
"Ronnie's a strong and capable guy, so no one thinks to check on him," continues our source. "But he feels guilty for asking for help. In Ronnie's mind, all his focus is on Debbie and what she needs while his struggles pale in comparison…"
While pottering around the house, Debbie's moment of horror comes when she discovers a leaflet about care homes. With Ronnie out picking them up some lunch – having turned down the chance for some afternoon delight – Debbie summons Abi Webster to the flat to relay her worst fears: he must have another woman lined up!

Abi reluctantly agrees to play detective on Debbie's behalf. As luck would have it, she spots Ronnie on the street with his arms around another woman. After Abi goes in all guns blazing, Ronnie manages to explain that the woman was from the support group – he's not having an affair.
Back at the flat, Ronnie manages to reassure Debbie and dismisses her fears of betrayal. Debbie then reveals that she's booked the honeymoon suite at the hotel for his birthday, but they arrive to discover that Debbie's double-booked the suite.
Will Ronnie find things easier now he's found the support of a group? And how much longer can Debbie continue before serious intervention is required?
