‘Percy Jackson’ Season 3 Trailer Introduces New Gods & Bigger Threats In Quest To Save Annabeth From The Titan’s Curse

The war between the Greek gods and the Titans is looming in the first full-length trailer for Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3.
The trailer, which debuted on Monday, makes clear that in order to save the world from that apocalyptic clash, Percy (Walker Scobell) is going to need all the help he can get. That likely means the son of Poseidon will have to join forces with Thalia (Tamara Smart), daughter of Zeus. But, it’s not going to be easy to recruit her, and in the meantime Percy has some demigods to save.
We finally get footage of Levi Chrisopulos and Olive Abercrombie, who will play the children of Hades, Nico and Bianca di Angelo. This opens up the main quest for Season 3, based on the third book in Rick Riordan’s bestselling series, The Titan’s Curse. While rescuing the siblings, Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries) is captured by Luke’s forces and taken to the titan Atlas at an enemy stronghold in California, where she is forced to bear the weight of the sky in place of goddess Artemis or Luke.
“Victory will require sacrifice,” Zeus ominously says over the climax of the trailer.
The trailer also includes a first glimpse of Kate McKinnon as Aphrodite and Ming-Na Wen as Hera, as well as new looks for the rest of the gods, including Lin-Manuel Miranda as Hermes, Courtney B. Vance as Zeus, and Adam Copeland as Ares. Also joining Season 3 are Jennifer Beals as Demeter and Hubert Smielecki as Apollo.
Audiences also get to see a look at one of the several monsters that Percy & co. will encounter on their mission to save Annabeth: Talos, the giant bronze automaton prototype in the Junkyard of the Gods.
