In it, she fights back tears while speaking about the huge loss for the industry. She said, "Ek toh meri maa chali gayi, mere dad chale gaye, Sridevi chali gayi… Aap bhi chale gaye? Aap humein kyun chhodkar ja rahe ho? Kaise jeeyenge hum, Nana ji, aapke bagair? Hamari film industry kaise chalegi aapke bina? Boliye na.
I am very sad about Nana Patekar. I am very sad. (First, my mother passed away, then my dad, and Sridevi passed away too… And now you are gone as well? Why are you leaving us? How will we live without you, Nana ji? How will our film industry function without you? I am very sad)."
What the doctor said about Nana Patekar’s death
A doctor told ANI that the actor was already dead when he reached the hospital. The medical team still tried to revive him for nearly an hour but failed.
The doctor shared, “Nana Patekar was brought dead to the hospital around 4:30, and he was declared dead by 5:30. We tried our best to save him, but he was brought dead. Nana Patekar’s film career
Born Vishwanath Patekar, the actor began his journey with ‘Gaman’ in 1978. He went on to become one of the most distinctive names in Hindi and Marathi cinema. His breakthrough came with films like ‘Ankush’, ‘Pratighaat’, ‘Salaam Bombay!’ and ‘Parinda’. He was also praised for ‘Prahaar: The Final Attack’, ‘Angaar’, ‘Tirangaa’, ‘Krantiveer’, ‘Agni Sakshi’, ‘Khamoshi: The Musical’, ‘Ab Tak Chhappan’, ‘Apaharan’ and ‘Raajneeti’.
