The Day 1 India net collection was 198.7% higher than the Rs 11.60 cr earned through advance sales. The pre-sales were recorded on Day 0, September 23.

Telugu version leads language-wise collection

The Telugu version emerged as the biggest contributor to the Day 1 India net collection.

It earned Rs 31.30 cr from 6,203 shows, with occupancy reaching 62.9%. The Hindi version collected Rs 2.25 cr from 2,632 shows. Its occupancy stood at 24.0%.The Tamil version contributed Rs 1.10 cr from 897 shows. 'The Paradise' records 62.56% Telugu occupancy

The Telugu 2D version recorded an overall occupancy of 62.56% on Day 1.

Morning shows registered 59.08% occupancy, while afternoon shows recorded 61.38%. Evening shows performed at 64.23% occupancy. Night shows recorded the highest figure at 65.54%.The Tamil 2D version had an overall occupancy of 46.18%. Its morning shows recorded 34.00%, while afternoon shows registered 31.20%. AP/TG contributes Rs 31.50 cr gross

The state-wise figures show Andhra Pradesh and Telangana contributing the largest share of the Day 1 gross collection.

The combined AP/TG gross stood at Rs 31.50 cr.Karnataka contributed Rs 4.00 cr, while Tamil Nadu added Rs 1.75 cr. Kerala recorded Rs 40 lakhs, and the rest of India contributed Rs 3.30 cr. The total state-wise gross collection stood at Rs 40.95 cr on Day 1.
