GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Green Bay Packers are hosting the Atlanta Falcons at Lambeau Field on Thursday night.
The Falcons stumbled out of the gate this season, losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers and Carolina Panthers, while quarterbacks Tua Tagovailoa (oblique) and Michael Penix Jr. (knee) were sidelined by injuries. Both quarterbacks are available Thursday, but Penix got the start, as he returned from last season's torn left ACL.
The Packers lost to the NFC North rival Minnesota Vikings in Week 1 but mounted a comeback victory Sunday against the New York Jets to avoid an 0-2 start. Thursday marks the 2026 home debut for quarterback Jordan Love and the Packers, as they await the return of edge rusher Micah Parsons from a torn ACL sustained in December.
