The entry of Cooper Murray/Lochie Dalton has been strong throughout the opening two days, with Murray third fastest yesterday. Murray was fighting for the win in the final laps of last year's Bathurst 1000.

What happens in the Top 10 Shootout?

The 10 fastest duos from Friday's qualifying session have one lap to get their car onto pole.

Each team will select one driver to complete the lap. The 10th fastest team on Friday will go first, then the ninth fastest, and so on.

Each team gets one lap and the top 10 positions on the starting grid will be determined by these single laps.
