Translate

New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer for the 2028 elections and former Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has urged party members at the constituency and polling station levels to remain united and formidable.

He stated that the NPP would win the 2028 elections, but emphasised that they must be united to make that possible.

The former Vice President urged supporters at the grassroots level to work tirelessly to help the party win more parliamentary seats in the next general election.

He said that with a majority in Parliament, his government would be able to implement policies and interventions to improve the socio-economic conditions of Ghanaians.

Dr Bawumia gave the advice when he joined Muslim prayers at Kintampo as part of his thank-you tour of the Bono East Region. He also commended the NPP for successfully electing its constituency, regional and national executives ahead of the 2028 elections.

Accompanied by some national, regional and constituency executives of the NPP, the party leader presented GH¢30,000 in cash to the Muslim community in Kintampo.

Dr Bawumia called on the Kintampo Muslim community to rally behind the party to help it regain power.
