The 5 best new Paramount+ series to binge-watch this week, October 12–16, 2026, include several Taylor Sheridan hits and Tom Hardy's epic crime thriller. Last week, the best shows to binge on Paramount+ included the newly added six seasons of This Is Us and new network series like Cupertino and NCIS: New York. While those remain strong weekly options, these five series are built to binge.

For now, Paramount+ remains the exclusive streaming home for most of Taylor Sheridan's celebrated series, such as Landman, although Netflix recently added all four existing seasons of Mayor of Kingstown. All of those series are well worth checking out on Paramount+, but if you're looking for the newest and best series on the streamer this week, the following five are the absolute best options right now.

Lioness

Taylor Sheridan's Lioness is one of the best shows to binge-watch on Paramount+, this week or at any given time. The series combines a high-stakes spy thriller with sophisticated political drama and military action, making it intensely gripping from start to finish. As one of the few series that Sheridan has written every episode for, Lioness is also one of the most popular series on Paramount+, currently ranking #2 worldwide. With its stellar ensemble cast led by Zoe Saldaña, Nicole Kidman, Morgan Freeman, and more, all three seasons of Lioness are simply too good to miss.

Dexter: Resurrection

The wait is almost over for Dexter: Resurrection season 2 to premiere on Friday, October 30, following the breakout success of 2025's first season that earned a near-perfect 95% Rotten Tomatoes score. As the series that single-handedly redeemed the original series that premiered back in 2006, Dexter: Resurrection is one of the most impressive sequel series of the 21st century and proves that the Emmy-winning TV franchise has successfully extended into the modern streaming age. Re-watching all ten episodes of Dexter: Resurrection season 1 is perfect this month ahead of season 2's premiere.

Avatar: Seven Havens

Avatar: Seven Havens is the first Avatar sequel series in 12 years and is already one of the most popular new series on Paramount+ following its 3-part debut on Friday, October 9. Although only three episodes have been released at the time of writing, Avatar: Seven Havens has already been renewed for three additional seasons, making it one of the most investable new series on the platform. The series is developed by the co-creators of the celebrated animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender. Another 3-episode drop will arrive at the end of this week on Friday, October 16, with its 3-part season 1 finale arriving on Friday, October 30.

MobLand

Another week, another new episode of MobLand season 2, which will release its fifth of ten episodes on Friday, October 16. MobLand season 2 is the #1 most-watched show worldwide on Paramount+ and has been celebrated by critics as an improvement on season 1 through its first four episodes. Tom Hardy's protagonist, Harry Da Souza, faces his toughest challenge yet, trying to help keep the London-based Harrigan crime family together, all while new and dangerous threats threaten his home life. MobLand season 2 is the #1 show on Paramount+ for a reason and is absolutely worth checking out every Friday this Fall until November 20.

Tulsa King

Tulsa King season 4 finally premieres on Paramount+ this Friday, October 16, and is our top-rated show to watch on the platform this week. Sylvester Stallone returns in the Taylor Sheridan-created series as Dwight Manfredi, a former capo in the New York Mafia who builds a small empire in modern-day Tulsa, Oklahoma. With most of its wide ensemble cast set to return in season 4, including Martin Starr, Jay Will, Garrett Hedlund, Dana Delany, and Frank Grillo, Tulsa King is poised to be one of, if not the, most popular series on Paramount+ this week – binge all three seasons ahead of season 4's premiere.
