Big Brother evicts second housemate of 2026 - and Jedward are thrilled

Big Brother has aired the second live eviction of 2026 - and after 12 days, it's the end of Chelsey's time in the iconic compound. The housemate polled the most votes when pitted against Pauline in this week's nominations.

Chelsey was mostly met with boos from the gathered audience when hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best made their announcement, but the reception was slightly more mixed when she made her exit.

"You've certainly made a big impression as a housemate. You've certainly not been boring," AJ told her.

"The drama just seems to find me," she responded. "I came in, I was like, 'I'm not gonna get involved in any drama'. Obviously, that didn't happen."

Chelsey correctly guessed that Johanne, Pauline, Rob, Harry and Sam nominated her, and called Johanne "really, really nasty with people".

Later in the interview, when the crowd chanted loudly for Johanne, Chelsey re-iterated her opinion that her rival is "nasty", with AJ and Will fighting to pull things back on track.

Reacting on social media, fans expressed very little surprise at the outcome of the vote, with one saying on Instagram: "Definitely the right decision. Her departure will drastically change the dynamic in the house."

Another wrote: "Well that was the easiest eviction ever."

Even Jedward, with whom Chelsey clashed during the now-infamous 'splashgate' incident, said: "Justice is served."

Not everyone was ecstatic, however - with one fan saying that "Pauline should have gone", and another calling Chelsey "my favourite gal".

It's been a week of extremely high drama in the house, with a row over chicken becoming particularly explosive in last night's episode.

An incident on Monday's show also led to over 100 Ofcom complaints, which pertained to an ongoing argument between Johanne and Omar.

This week's theme has been the House of Double Trouble, but AJ and Strictly contestant Will announced at the end of the broadcast that it's all change from tomorrow - as the bungalow becomes the House of Nothing.

"And, because it's the House of Nothing, we're gonna tell you absolutely nothing about it," AJ quipped.
