Super Eagles Begin Preparations In Nizhny Novgorod For Russia Friendly
The Super Eagles held their first training session in Nizhny Novgorod on Saturday night as they stepped up preparations for their international friendly against Russia.
The Nigerian delegation arrived in Moscow on Friday ahead of Tuesday’s encounter.
Captain Wilfred Ndidi, Bright Osayi-Samuel, and Akpe Victory have withdrawn from the friendly due to various reasons.

Head coach Éric Chelle has already called up John Otomewo and Vince Osuji as replacements for Ndidi and Victory.
The Super Eagles will hold their final training session on Monday ahead of the game.
Tuesday’s encounter will take place at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 6pm Nigerian time.
It will be only the second meeting between Nigeria and Russia at senior international level.
