In addition to receiving an inaugural award at the VMAs and making history by winning the most awards at the show, Taylor Swift stunned fans on the red carpet. With her partner Travis Kelce’s Chiefs game going on in full force against the Miami Dolphins in Florida, Swift focused on her appearance at the award show today.

The 14-time Grammy winner opted to embody her brand-new persona from the new music video for ‘Patient Zero,’ leaving fans reeling from her stunning look for the night.

The 36-year-old stunned the crowd at the VMAs. This year she opted to wear a breathtaking black and silver accent dress. Bodycon and draped to the floor, the black vest featured a mock-neck design with sheer panels on the sides and at the back of the dress.

The dress draped asymmetrically on her hips and featured a sparkly silver colour that directly contrasted with the black.

She opted to keep her hair simple, going for her iconic bangs for the night along with shoulder-length hair. She accessorised with drop earrings and several rings that directly matched the skirt. Ahead of the award show, fans had been wondering whether the singer would be present at the event or whether she would show up in Florida to support her husband.

Swift is also the second most nominated artist of the night with 11 nominations, following closely behind Madonna, who scored 13 nominations.The inaugural award’s official description, according to a PEOPLE report, is “a new award recognising groundbreaking music artists whose work behind the camera has expanded the possibilities of music video and advanced the art of visual storytelling.”Her nominations for the night include Video of the Year, Best Pop, Best Art Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best Choreography, and Best Visual Effects for ‘The Fate of Ophelia,’ plus Best Direction for 'Opalite' and Best Album for ‘The Life of a Showgirl.' Song of Summer for ‘I Knew It, I Knew You,’ and Artist of the Year.
