Real Madrid star Vinícius Júnior has been suspended for four games, including the first Clásico of the season, after being red-carded for pulling an opponent's hair during his team's LaLiga win over Villarreal on Saturday.

The suspension was announced on Wednesday, with Vinícius being given a two-game ban for violent conduct for the hair pull and an additional two games for his subsequent protest toward officials.

The Brazilian forward will now not be available when Madrid travel to face fierce rivals and LaLiga leaders Barcelona on Oct. 25.
