Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar Trailer Review: Pyaar Ka Punchnama Energy Is Back, But With Six New Faces
Luv Ranjan is widely known for his film Pyaar Ka Punchnama. The film ended up with 3 movies in its franchise. It had also introduced new faces into the industry, including Kartik Aaryan. Now, the makers of the film are back with a fresh tale on friendship and romance titled Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar.
The upcoming film introduces six new actors to the industry. Their names are Sparsh Walia, Alisha Chopra, Kunal Vaid, Sakshi Vaidya, Tushar Chhibber, and Sargun Kaur Luthra. They promise to bring fresh and vibrant energy to the screen. Despite the new faces, there is something very familiar about the trailer.

When the title was announced, many wondered, “How can first love happen twice?” This mystery has been solved by the trailer. The film narrates the story of three friends who attend their school reunion bash. There, they meet their respective crushes from their school days. Things move forward. However, their first love takes complicated turns as they get deeply involved with each other. We see friendships getting sour, love taking a complicated route as expectations turn sour.

Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar reflects on modern love and how friendships help you soar through difficult times. The trailer also teases a good soundtrack, with the title track sung by Darshan Raval. The trailer boasts beautiful, well-lit surroundings and well-lit people. It almost seems like a canvas painting. Everything looks pretty, even as the characters have disagreements and meltdowns.
This might as well be called Pyaar Ka Punchnama 3, with reduced misogyny. Also, the core friend group includes a woman this time. We see them discuss their love life quite openly with each other and seek each other’s help. Another interesting element is that Sparsh Walia bears an uncanny resemblance to actor Kartik Aaryan, who became the monologue boy of the Punchnama series. Sparsh, too, seems to have an almost rant-like scenario towards the end of the trailer.
