‘Nobody Wants This’ Takes a Big Step in Season 3 Trailer

Joanne and Noah have taken a big step in their relationship, but everybody around them still seems to have questions in the trailer for season three of Nobody Wants This.

The Netflix comedy, which premieres Oct. 22, opens its trailer with Kristen Bell‘s Joanne and Adam Brody‘s Noah marveling at and reveling in the fact that they have moved in together. Joanne is also taking an Intro to Judaism class (taught by Sarah Silverman’s Rabbi Eden) to get a better handle on Noah’s work as a rabbi. And it’s there that the questions start.

“I heard about you,” a classmate played by new castmember Andrew Rannells tells Joanne. “You know — the hot rabbi blew up his life to be with you.”

“Our story is a little bit more nuanced and much more romantic than that,” Joanne counters. Watch the trailer below.

Here’s the full description for season three: “After recommitting to each other at the end of last season, Joanne and Noah are moving into a home — and a relationship — that finally feels solid, embracing every exciting ‘first’ that comes with building their life together. Sasha (Timothy Simons) and Esther (Jackie Tohn) are thrust back into the dating world, whether they like it or not, stumbling through all the awkwardness (and unexpected thrill) of getting to know someone new, right as Morgan (Justine Lupe) takes her career to the next level, on her way to becoming an (almost) media sensation. Meanwhile, Sasha and Morgan have been circling something neither of them has been able to admit to.”

The Nobody Wants This cast also features Shiloh Bearman, Sherry Cola, Stephanie Faracy, Michael Hitchcock, Paul Ben-Victor and Tovah Feldshuh. Series creator Erin Foster will also appear on screen in season three.
