Inter signed English trio Djed Spence, John Stones, and Curtis Jones during the summer transfer window, but injuries have prevented Cristian Chivu from having all three players available at the same time.

Inter’s Spence, Stones, and Jones are still waiting for their first match together.

All three joined the Nerazzurri during the summer transfer window, but they’ve all struggled with fitness issues early in the campaign.

Spence hasn’t yet made his debut for the Nerazzurri, but he’s expected to be available for the first time on Saturday, when the defending Serie A champions host Parma at San Siro, after regaining match fitness. The former Tottenham man is expected to start on the bench against the Ducali.

His compatriots Jones and Stones won’t be available at all. Stones suffered a flexor injury in mid-September and will miss the game against Parma.

The former Manchester City defender has played 144 minutes in four appearances this season, sustaining an injury in his first start against Udinese.

Jones’ injury, by contrast, is fresher: the former Liverpool man picked up a thigh problem on Thursday and will remain out of action for nearly a month.

The English midfielder has made five Inter appearances so far, playing 242 minutes.
