Celebrity Race Across The World has finally been given its release date by the BBC – with four teams of famous faces ready to go on an adventure.

This season, the duos will be heading off on a 7,500km journey from the southeast Asian island of Borneo to Melbourne, Australia.

The series will begin on BBC One on Wednesday 28 October at 8pm.

Taking on the challenge this year are Sam Ryder and his tour manager Kaz, Ella Eyre and her childhood friend Nana, sports broadcaster Jeff Stelling and his son Matt, and Katie Price and Peter Andre's children, Princess and Junior Andre.

Leaving behind their phones and credit cards, the four pairs will be on a strict budget as they make their way to each new location as fast as possible, trying to beat the others to the checkpoints.

Starting in Kuching in Northwest Borneo, the teams will have to navigate jungles, cross three countries and two continents in order to end up in the southern tip of Australia.

All they will have to help them is a map, a £52 a day (£26 per person) budget, and each other as they figure out the best course of action.

Testing their resourcefulness and navigational skills, emotions will quickly run high and test the relationships that are so important to them.

In what’s been promised to be “the most formidable test yet”, who will come out the victor?

Not too much longer to wait to find out.

This is the show’s fourth season, with Roman Kemp and his sister Harleymoon Kemp emerging victorious in the 2025 season after becoming the first to make their way from Isla Mujeres in Mexico to Península de La Guajira in Colombia.

Other previous winners were broadcaster Alex Beresford and his father, Noel, in 2023, and Scott Mills and his husband Sam Vaughan in 2024.
