'The Batman Part II' cast member RUN OVER by Batmobile; filming halted after stunt mishap

Filming on 'The Batman Part II' was brought to a halt after a stunt mishap landed a cast member in hospital.According to reports, a cast member was allegedly run over on the film sets, by the film's iconic Batmobile.

As per The Sun, the incident that left a cast member injured, is said to have taken place while the team was filming an action sequence.

Filming was ultimately stopped.“People working on the set said the Batmobile had run someone over. Filming was stopped after the accident. These kinds of action films always come with some level of risk and this accident served as a reminder of that,” a source told the portal and went on to add, "Luckily the person who was hurt received treatment at the hospital and is now recovering at home."Filming has since resumed at Leavesden Studios in Hertfordshire, with Robert Pattinson, returning as Bruce Wayne, the billionaire vigilante who fights crime as Batman. The film has also been in the spotlight following reports that director Matt Reeves had to step away from the project for personal reasons, with 'Ocean's Eleven' director Steven Soderbergh reportedly stepping in.After Halloween, the film was back in the news as Heidi Klum's Instagram post, sparked speculation about possible villains in 'The Batman: Part II'. The model, who was showing off her gruesome costume this year, also revealed masks on shelves, including a scarred face that fans believe resembles Harvey Dent, aka Two-Face. While Brian Tyree Henry is rumoured to be playing the iconic villain, rumours were rife of Sebastian Stan being linked to the role. However, the actor is now reportedly playing serial killer Victor Zsasz. Another intriguing clue was a label reading “OWL 3”, fuelling speculation about the Court of Owls, a secret society hinted at by a “Court of Fowls” sign spotted during an earlier protest scene filmed for the sequel.Colin Farrell, Andy Serkis, Jeffrey Wright and Scarlett Johansson are also part of the cast. 'The Batman Part II' is currently scheduled for release in February 2028.
