While Roma and Milan do battle, both might miss out on Real Madrid talent Endrick amid Spanish reports Aston Villa might be the favourites for a January loan.
The Brazil international is growing increasingly frustrated at the lack of playing time under Jose Mourinho, and seems to be pushing for the exit on another loan spell in January 2027, having impressed at Olympique Lyonnais last season.
Endrick has no shortage of interest

Serie A sides had already tried to approach him over the summer, with reports the deal had been agreed with Roma until Mourinho stepped in.
Now the Giallorossi remain interested, with Milan also pushing hard for his signature as a temporary reinforcement.

However, Cadena Ser in Spain suggest today that Aston Villa are to be considered the favourites for Endrick, as they are playing in the Champions League and have coach Unai Emery in charge.
Roma are also participating in the Champions League, so that would put Milan third in the list of contenders, but regular playing time is going to be the main consideration for his next career step.
