Sharon Stone exclaims if men got pregnant you could get 'an abortion from a vending machine'

Actress Sharon Stone said Wednesday on Michelle Obama's podcast that if men could get pregnant, people could find abortions "from a vending machine."

While appearing on the "IMO" podcast, Stone described having an abortion she kept secret when she was 18 and her lack of sexual experience at the time.

"He didn't have any knowledge or information that I should have some kind of birth control," the 68-year-old actress said. "And I had no...like when I tell you I could have been the girl who gave birth in the bathroom stall."

Stone joked that her parents assumed her weight gain was the "freshman 15" before criticizing people she said want to refuse to "give women care."

"And now we don't wanna give women care, OB-GYN care, and we wanna prosecute women for having a miscarriage? What kind of arcane b-----it is this?"

"If men got pregnant, you could get an abortion from a vending machine," she added.

Obama laughed at the comment and added that there would likely be a "birth Olympics" if men could get pregnant.

"Exactly. If there would be the birth Olympics… men would film themselves going into labor and honoring their pain and, you know it would be…there would be trophies given, you know, 'well done dude,' 'Bob, you did that without an epidural,'" Obama said.

In a comment to Fox News Digital, Laura Echevarria, National Right to Life's communications director and press secretary, decried Stone's flippant comments regarding abortion.

"Vending machines are about convenience. Abortion is about consequences— it ends the life of an unborn child and can profoundly impact the mother. Reducing abortion to something dispensed on demand doesn’t elevate women; it trivializes both women and their children," Echevarria said.

She continued, "We can and should advocate for excellent medical care for women without diminishing the value of their children. Women and their unborn children deserve compassion and support—not rhetoric that reduces abortion to the equivalent of purchasing a snack."

Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America’s Communication Director Kelsey Pritchard told Fox News Digital: "The Democrats simply can't defend their no-limits abortion-on-demand agenda, so they resort to cynical man-bashing. Small wonder their party has negative appeal to men. If they really believed their rhetoric, they would never allow dangerous abortion drugs to be sold anonymously online."

Stone's podcast appearance came a few days after she called out fellow actress Sydney Sweeney over her provocative ad for a sports prediction platform.

"I think that it’s up to her to take responsibility for her actions, not up to me to judge her for her actions. It is up to me to be a cheerleader for the women who have made it through and become champions in women’s sports," Stone told People.
