What happened when mega Traitors fan Prince William met Celebrity Traitors star Ross Kemp?

Traitors fan Prince William has had a meeting with one of the stars of this year's UK Celebrity edition, EastEnders' Ross Kemp.

Kemp, best known for the role of Grant Mitchell on the BBC soap, has posed for a playful snap with the Prince of Wales as the duo convened in Ilminster, Somerset.

Kemp, who is an ambassador to the National Emergencies Trust, and William discussed how local communities come together to face extreme weather events as they've become increasingly frequent.

Speaking to a crowd of young people, William revealed being a fan of the show.

"I'm going to get the answer," the Prince of Wales said as he introduced Kemp (via BBC News). "Do you watch The Traitors?"

"I’m going to get the answer to what happens and I am going to tell you all later."

"Spoiler alert today – he's here."

Kemp is part of the starry line-up of season 2 of Celebrity Traitors, once again hosted by Claudia Winkleman.

This edition immediately descended into utter chaos when newly appointed Traitor, Oscar-nominated actor Richard E Grant, outed himself as a baddie in a casual chat with co-star Joe Lycett. After his very public, yet iconic, move, Grant spent the next day trying to defend himself alongside fellow Traitor, Love Island host Maya Jama.

The duo even recruited a third Traitor in comedian James Acaster, and subsequently murdered Amol Rajan. Despite Grant's best efforts to dig himself out of the Traitor hole, all eyes remained on him for the upcoming banishment.

Kemp is among this season's most alert Faithfuls, as he's convinced that even a light touch of the arm or a stare could spell his end in the game.

The Celebrity Traitors airs on BBC One and streams on BBC iPlayer.
