Cincinnati Bearcats WR JV Gibson taken to hospital after injury

HOUSTON – Cincinnati Bearcats receiver JV Gibson was hit at the goal line with 6:59 remaining in their game vs. No. 17 Houston. The third-down pass was incomplete, but Gibson was hit after the play.
He remained down on the field for several minutes and eventually was transported off the field by a stretcher and cart. He was taken to Hermann Memorial Hospital.
