Star Trek: Voyager Officially Returns November 2026 In Universes Beyond

Airing from 1995 to 2001 and consisting of a whopping 172 episodes across seven seasons, Star Trek: Voyager is remembered fondly by fans of the long-running sci-fi franchise. Taking place in the 24th century and exploring an era and part of the galaxy previously unknown to fans, Voyager follows the exploits of the USS Voyager as it attempts to return home after being stranded on the far side of the Milky Way Galaxy.

Introducing brand-new species such as the Borg, as well as new alien species such as the Kazon, Vidiians, Hirogen, and Species 8472, Star Trek: Voyager played an important role in the Star Trek universe, and since it came to an end in the early 2000s, its story has been continued various episode novelizations, video games, and various novels.

Now, the Star Trek: Voyager era is back with a brand-new release that goes live this November, and with the franchise as a whole celebrating its 60th anniversary this month, there has never been a better time to take a trip down memory lane.

In just two months' time, Star Trek will be teaming up with Magic: The Gathering to bring fans a once-in-a-lifetime experience, with the official description reading, "Chart a course for a Star Trek expedition like never before. Magic: The Gathering invites players to explore the universe of Star Trek with iconic ships, heroes, and adversaries from across 60 years of television and movies."

As such, there are plenty of events to look forward to throughout November, all centered around Magic: The Gathering and its brand-new card decks. It begins with the pre-release, which will allow fans to play with the brand-new set in a casual environment. "Players open Pre-release Packs, build decks from the six Play Boosters and include extra rare or mythic rare cards, and then play!" This is available from 6-12 November.

Alternatively, Commander Events will also be taking place, and WPN retailers will "receive traditional foil promo cards and non-Premium members will receive non-foil promos." From 20-26 November, Commander Parties will be going ahead with the WPN website reading, "Commander Party is a story-inspired Commander event that immerses players in the setting of Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek with themed rules, play aids, mission cards, and party cards, creating a fun, casual event that welcomes new players, lore enthusiasts, and Commander fans alike. Each pod of three to four players receives a play aid, with party cards placed in its designated area."

These are just some of the Magic: The Gathering events taking place in specialised stores to help celebrate the brand-new Star Trek collaboration, but this also means that the new cards and decks will also be going live at this time, allowing you to explore the game at your own pace from November onwards.

Not only that, but with character cards detailing some of the most iconic characters from Star Trek history, especially Star Trek: Voyager, fans of the original series will not want to miss out on this upcoming release.
